So, here in this post, I am gonna share with you some important or rather smart tips that if you follow all, definitely you can get a position on page 1 in lesser time and boost your career with these strategies of digital Marketing fast. So let’s start them.

Following are the 5 smart ways to achieve rank and gain traffic in a short span even if your website is new.

#1 Write long-form and quality content

This works. This is not something I heard and I put here. I experienced it in my past project.

Google loves content. For any new content, it gives a push in the beginning. But there is a clause.

And that is, the content should not just be original, but also have some specific qualities to be rankable in less time. These qualities are as follows.

Find a USP (Unique selling point)

The next important point here to rank your website on google page 1 of Google is to write something new and uniquely.

You have to adopt such a strategy that can help you to get noticed among the crowd. There is almost everything on google available today. You write any topic and hit the search button. You see hundreds of posts around it. So you have to be different while providing the information around your topic. In a way that is not so common.

For example, every time you write a subject you put a case study with it. Or you are dedicated to writing around one specific subject. This will pose you as an expert on a subject. So gradually people will start considering you as an expert in that domain or subject. That will become your USP.

Focus on long Tail Keywords

Long-tail keywords are easier to rank than short-tail keywords. So for a newbie, it is always a good practice to use long-tail keywords initially. This will give you good ranks on those keywords and thus good traffic. Gradually, when your reader-base will increase, your website’s basic rank will also grow. Then you can focus on short-tail keywords also.

Write long-form articles to rank your website on google

Long-form does not mean writing thin value content writing anything just for the sake of making a long article.

Long-form article means a piece of content that includes valuable information in detail, having the main focus of the primary subject and strengthening it with information on the related subject or secondary topics.

When I ask you to write long-form content, I aim to make your article complete in itself. This means readers of the subject need not move out of your article for having further information, on some topic mentioned in your article.

Your article should elaborate on all important aspects of your main topic in the same piece of content itself as far as it justifies its inclusion there.

Secondly, the content should be deep and provide technical information on the subject also.

Only providing conceptual information, would not make it engaging enough to bind the reader for long.

The content should also include technical specifications to support the subject. It will not only increase the reader engagement but also increase the authority of your article. So try to make valuable, engaging, and in-depth content.

#2 Focus on a specific niche

You can’t be a master of all trades. To specify your expertise and write around it. If you would dig into versatility, it will reach nowhere.

What I mean is, writing content on completely different topics would confuse the readers, as to what should they follow your blog or subscribe to you.

Let us take an example. If I have an interest in reading sports articles. I found a blog having nice articles on sports, and I subscribe.

But the next day, I got an email for their new article which was on food recipes, which don’t interest me. I found it irrelevant and I abandon that blog site by subscribing to it.

To build your audience group. Of like-minded people, you can write for them and make them your regular readers.

Focusing on a specific niche will help rank your website on google in another special way.

Google has algorithms that groups the audience type as per their interests. It shows blog suggestions to its reader as per their interests. When you write around a specific niche, Google puts your blog in a specific category and shows it to the right reader base. This will further enhance your reader base.

Third, the benefit is, that it will protect you from unnecessary competition that you even don’t deserve.

In the same example, your expertise is in sports, but you are an average writer for food blogs also. By writing on this topic you are unnecessarily jumping yourself into a not-so-required competition.

So conclusively, focus on one niche (at least in the initial phase) and write amazing content on that to conquer.

#3 Social power helps to rank your website on google too

Getting traffic on a new website is not easy. Since it does not appear on the 1st page, how people will land on your blog pages where you have written great articles.

How would you bring people to your newly added articles when it is not appearing in SERPs.

A great solution to this problem is Social Media Marketing.

All of us use Social Platforms. Some for personal use, networking, and communication, some for entertainment, and some for business purposes.

These platforms are used all around the world. So when we share something on these social media platforms, it reaches a mass crowd in no time. This is the best way to draw traffic to your new website that is not visible on the 1st page in SERP. With the help of your posts, reels, and infographics, you inform your niche-related audience about what you have new for them. The re-direction will help you get a good no. of readers.

So it helps you in two ways. Once you get noticed by people. Secondly, you get free traffic, which will also boost your rank in search engines.

Not to forget that Social Media Marketing is known as one of the key components of Digital Marketing.

Social creates brand value

Social media best help in increasing your brand value. When people keep on seeing you on their social pages, they will stand to remember your brand name and thus, recognize you when next time they will see it anywhere else.

Make sure to use many social media platforms, not just Facebook. There is a logic behind it.

Google checks authority. When it sees many high authority social platforms have given you space for your business profile, it considers your website trustworthy, thus, enhancing there ranks in its SERP too.

So always focus on as many social networks as possible. However, make sure, these should be of good authority.

Increase authority

Having an account or profile on social media platforms enhances domain authority to a great extent. Domain authority is nothing but a trust factor that is built with time and quality. When you offer quality products and on-time services, people start repeating themselves on your portal. This gives a signal to Google that you are trustworthy and thus it increases your do, main authority, making you more reliable and valuable. You are in process of making your business a brand. This helps in increasing the user base and thus, notes by search engines. Helping in building goodwill for your business.

Marketing on your subconscious mind.

Remember when you travel on highways, seeing so many display boards of telecom companies such as airtel, the idea of having in a row. Having nothing mentioned on them except the logo and brand name. So what is their purpose?

the purpose wat to imprint the name of their brand in your mind. Unknowingly it gets stored in your brain. So, whenever you go out to buy a new mobile connection, automatically that name appeared in your mind and you buy that one only

What they did do?

They created a mark on your subconscious mind and printed it in your memory.

In the same way, when again and again people see you and your brand name on their all social walls, they will start considering it as a brand.

#4 YouTube

Youtube is the most powerful tool today in marketing any business or person. Any business or person. just like google, youtube has become the 2nd most used platform. You search for anything on youtube and you will get ample content on your query. And what’s more interesting. It is in moving form, i.e. video. Videos create more impact and are grasped quickly.

It also builds a personal connection between provider and viewer. So you must consider it also.

People drive crazy traffic to their website from youtube.

Even many bloggers get business just from youtube itself.

I worked with many businesses, who in their initial phase (when their website was quite new), getting clients from youtube itself. So even if you are new, your website is way far from google page 1, you can certainly get business through youtube. Coming to the main point, of help in ranking. Since you get traffic via youtube, it will increase your overall traffic and thus, enhance your ranks on google.

Ultimately it is all about getting more and more traffic at the end to increase ranks.

#5 Link building

An important factor to rank websites on google

Just like content, link building is another most important factor in ranking a website on google. Link building means building relations. making reputation.

You should be going guest posts, writing blogs on web 2.0 sites be socially active with readers.

Let us learn with an example. Suppose you are looking for a house to rent. The person ready to give you his house on rent verifies your profile such as your contacts, workplace, labor, etc. If sounds all well, he give you his house.

Similarly, google (the new landlord) first check your profiles on social platforms, your relations with other reputed websites (web 2.0), etc. If all is found good, it trusts you and allows you a good space in its SERP.

When you write good value content, many reputed sites allow you to do guest posts. In return, they may offer you a link back to your website. This is your reward.

Focus on building high-quality links. It may take time, but that’s ok.

One high-value backlink is much more valuable than 100’s low-quality ones’. So focus on quality, not quantity. Never choose a shortcut to earn links. It is a slow and steady process. And that is only liked by google.

One this to remember, is that link building also increases your brand value. So don’t ignore it.

Summary
